Parents call me “Neelu”. Dad given me a name ‘Akbar Basha’ for schooling. Friends call me with many names. My wife also has given me plenty of names. I introduce myself as ‘Akbar’. And Often I attach a tag “raaja” or raasa” to show the world my love for Ilaiyaraaja and his music.

For the existence of my soul, I demand love from almost all the people I meet, since I love them. Often I speak of my thoughts and have seen the love from most of the people. Along with this love, my Ilaiyaraaja’s music, gives a sense of satisfaction for the existence of my soul in this world. For my physical survival and for the survival of my dependents (of course all are independent), I work as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering and make the materialistic existence in this world. But the greatest satisfaction is given by my students who listen sometimes to my philosophical blah blah. You can taste my words, click HERE.

Music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, a south-Indian composer, is doing something in me. Others’ music has the elements which please me, but, this person’s music is beyond my control. New people need time and proper exposure to Ilaiyaraaja music to realize what I say.
